Student in middle schools can join the U12 athletics options or sign up for the variety of daily after school activities. They also actively participate in MS Student Council, Leadership class, International Day and Saudi National Day.
Middle School Curriculum Overview
The transition from elementary to middle school brings its own unique challenges. Guided by a distinctive middle school philosophy, American School Dhahran provides a carefully structured, well-balanced, innovative and student-centered curricular and co-curricular program designed to support students' social, physical, emotional and cognitive development.
Our middle school core curriculum subjects are Math, English Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education. Along with the core subjects, our learners have regular sessions in Music, Visual Arts, Arabic, regular visits to the school library and technology is embedded into every aspect of their day.
We also provide a student mentoring program for new students to ASD that supports them as they develop their independence in a new school.
