ASD Athletics and Activities
ASD Athletics

We encourage all our students to participate in the athletic program at American School Dhahran.

Elementary students practice different sports during their P.E. classes and can try out for teams when they reach middle school.

In our athletics program, we have teams to represent boys and girls in different sports and age groups starting from Under 14 to Under 19.  Practice usually runs after school hours, two-three times a week.

ISG Jamborees, SAIKAC tournaments, or international tournaments and fixtures run throughout the year.  In these tournaments, ASD plays against other ISG schools and schools from around the Kingdom.

We are very proud of our teams that continually win medals and trophies on a national and international level.  We celebrate their achievements at the end of the year with a division-wide Sports Awards event.

Activities

At ASD, we offer our students a well-rounded, balanced learning experience that contributes to their personal, social, physical, moral and emotional development.

Through our After School Activities program, students can try new activities, explore a variety of interests, develop new skills and make new friends.
