ASD Students Excel in DELF Exams, Showcasing Dedication and Language Mastery

American School Dhahran is proud to celebrate the achievements of its students who recently participated in the DELF Junior exams—official French language proficiency certifications awarded by the French Ministry of Education.

From April 13–16, 2025, ISG hosted the DELF Junior exams for the second consecutive year, in partnership with Alliance Française and the ISG Teaching and Learning Office. This year, 38 students from both ASD and British School Dhahran took part in the A1 and A2 level assessments. Notably, for the first time, a student registered for the more advanced B1 level—an exciting milestone that reflects both ambition and growth within the French language program.

The DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française) is a globally recognized credential that assesses students’ reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. Reaching these levels requires sustained commitment, countless hours of practice, and a deep engagement with both the language and culture.

These accomplishments are a direct reflection of the students’ perseverance, hard work and passion for learning. They also highlight the role of ASD teachers and the Teaching and Learning Office, whose guidance, encouragement and strategic programming have helped pave the way for student success—not only in meeting goals, but exceeding them.

ASD remains committed to empowering students through rich academic experiences and meaningful partnerships. The collaboration with Alliance Française stands as a strong example of how global connections can enhance student learning and open doors to new opportunities.
