ASD Hosts Successful 'Dads and Donuts' Event

American School Dhahran’s Parent-Teacher Group (PTG) organized a heartwarming "Dads and Donuts" event, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere for elementary school students and their fathers.

The school buzzed with excitement as over 200 fathers joined their children for a special morning. The event provided a relaxed setting for quality time, with attendees sharing sweet treats and engaging in a variety of enjoyable activities. Fathers and their children participated in playful games and bonded over shared stories during reading time.

ASD’s Principal Mr. Wingers noted the positive impact on student-father relationships and the school community, emphasizing that this initiative by the dedicated PTG beautifully illustrates the importance of family involvement in education and strengthens the bonds within the school.

The joy and connection witnessed at the event, seeing the smiles on the faces of both the students and their fathers, made it truly special and a testament to the strong partnership between home and school.

The "Dads and Donuts" event served as a meaningful opportunity to support family connections and reinforce the strong sense of community at ASD. The school administration and the PTG extended their appreciation to all the fathers who dedicated their time to participate in this heartwarming and successful occasion.
