ISG Jubail Celebrates Its First Fine Arts Festival

ISG Jubail recently transformed its campus into a vibrant celebration of creativity during its Fine Arts Festival, hosted by the Fine Arts Department. The event featured a dynamic mix of visual and performing arts that highlighted the talents and imagination of students across all grade levels.
The festival began with lively band performances that echoed through the school halls as different grade levels and music groups took turns entertaining audiences throughout the day. As attendees made their way between performances, they were immersed in a gallery-like experience — hallways adorned with paintings, embroidery, sculptures and a wide array of student-created artwork.
The celebration continued in the multi-purpose room, where the official art festival kicked off with a creative twist. Teacher Mrs. Carolina appeared dressed as the Mona Lisa alongside a high school student portraying Leonardo da Vinci. The duo gave a fun, educational performance on the history of their iconic figures, blending art history with cultural appreciation — culminating in a surprise wardrobe change into traditional Saudi attire.
Adding to the excitement, a student embodying Frida Kahlo took the stage, sharing intriguing facts about the famous artist while painting from a wheelchair in homage to Frida’s real-life experiences.
One of the festival's most memorable moments was the "living art" runway, where teachers and students posed as classic artworks, holding picture frames as they walked the runway to cheers from parents, students and staff alike.
To wrap up the event, a lively art-themed quiz invited parents and students to test their knowledge. Those who answered correctly were rewarded with unique student-made art pieces — a perfect way to end a day full of inspiration and creativity.
Special thanks go to Mrs. Madiha Qamar, the Fine Arts Department, and all the dedicated teachers and students who helped make this unforgettable event possible.
