Celebrating the Art of Public Speaking: TEDxAmericanSchoolDhahran

TEDxAmericanSchoolDhahran, an inspiring IB CAS project led by two students, has evolved into a vibrant event that brought together parents, ASD staff and, most importantly, students to celebrate the art of public speaking. The event was a testament to the power of ideas and the impact of effective communication.

We were honored to host our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Firas Salaas, CEO of Cham Dental & Derma. Dr. Salaas shared a special and heartfelt story that resonated deeply with the audience, setting a powerful tone for the event.

Our master of ceremonies, a senior ASD student, expertly introduced the lineup of speakers, who ranged from 10th to 12th grade. These talented students delivered powerful, moving and inspiring speeches on a variety of meaningful and relevant topics. Each speech highlighted the depth of thought and passion our students bring to the stage, making the event a memorable experience for all attendees.
