ASD Wins Silver in the NESAC U19 Basketball Tournament

ASD’s U19 girls basketball team took second place in the NESAC U19 girls basketball tournament held in Abu Dhabi on February 7-11.

Our girls went 6 and 2 falling short to only American School of Kuwait in the Championship game. The team had memorable moments defeating the defending champions from International College Beirut twice, both in round robin play and in the semifinal round. Furthermore, two members of our team were selected for the NESAC All Tournament Team.

At American School Dhahran, we are very proud of the caliber of talent we have among our students and the excitement and dedication the players have for their chosen sport.
