ASD Welcomes 80 Students into This Year’s Best Buddies Program

The ASD Best Buddies program is thriving, and we couldn’t be prouder! 

As the first chapter of Best Buddies in Saudi Arabia, and in collaboration with British School Dhahran (BSD), we are excited to welcome 80 amazing students from over 200 applicants this year.

On October 2, ACCEL delivered powerful lessons on disabilities and people-first language, reinforcing the importance of social inclusion. The following week, our students reunited with their buddies for a day of crafts, laughter and connections.

Through this program, our students do more than plan events and awareness campaigns—they embody our core values of compassionate action. Once a month, they come together to foster friendship, understanding and inclusivity, leaving a lasting impact on each other's lives.
