Our ASD middle school showcased their History Day projects on Sunday, May 26 and celebrated the effort they put into their final projects.
The room was filled with excitement and intellectual curiosity as students proudly presented their projects. This annual event celebrates the culmination of months of hard work, research and creativity by our dedicated students.
The theme this year was: Turning Points in History. Each project reflected the students' deep dives into various historical topics, ranging from pioneering individuals and transformative ideas to significant events and cultural milestones that have shaped human history. Students demonstrated not only their knowledge of historical facts but also their ability to think critically about historical contexts and their relevance to contemporary issues.
Parents, staff and students were also invited to visit the showcase. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as visitors engaged with the young historians, asking questions and offering praise for their hard work. The students eagerly shared their findings, explaining their research processes and the insights they gained.
