ASD Meets International Jazz Performers at Ithra

Last Thursday, high school music students from ASD were fortunate to attend a dress rehearsal and Q&A session with a professional musical group from the United States, Jazz at Lincoln Center at Ithra, the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. 

The performers, who are originally from the US, Japan and the UK, shared their musical knowledge and experiences with students and answered questions about life as a professional musician but also their own musical journey.  

Students came away from the performance inspired and transported by such a unique and whimsical performance and are hopeful to take part in more music education outreach opportunities in the future.
