Computer Science Field Trip to Aziziyah Campus

Ms. Sidra’s Introduction to Computer Science classes visited the ISG data center on the Aziziyah campus on Sunday, April 21, to learn how data is managed across the district.

Students learned how networks are designed, implemented, operated and maintained by the Infrastructure Design Team.  They also saw the data center in action, engaging in person with the systems they have been learning about throughout the year.

Students asked questions about the variety of careers involved in data management and were excited and encouraged to learn how they could apply the practical knowledge and skills they are developing. Opportunities to learn and engage across the district allow our students to develop an expanded worldview and understanding of their role within.
