Research Based Argument Essay Celebration

Our upper elementary students have been diving deep into their research based argument essay project. The writers each researched a topic, analyzed sources and crafted persuasive arguments to support their points. Teachers and students provided feedback and revisions to strengthen the thesis statements of each student, to enhance the structure of each essay, and to improve the clarity of each argument.
Students presented their arguments to their peers and other faculty members at the end of their argumentative essay writing unit on Thursday, March 14.
When faced with a challenging unit, our students are learning how to break down each part of the unit into manageable learning goals. At each step of the way, students receive feedback and opportunities to demonstrate growth.
We are excited to see the great writing progress in our elementary school students. A big thank you to our teachers who guide and support the students in their writing journey.
