During Week Without Walls (WOW Week), ISG Dammam elementary school students engaged in field trips and assemblies to help them understand our core values. The program, titled “Paws with Purpose: A Leopard’s Journey Through Core Values," gave opportunities for students to perform plays, give speeches, dance and sing to represent each of the core values at ISG Dammam. Each grade level performed in front of parents, friends and faculty.
WOW week curriculum was designed to help our students expand their learning beyond the regular classroom work. Students participated in several hands-on projects and interactive workshops that spark creativity and critical thinking.
Additionally, the elementary students traveled on field trips throughout the area to help them learn and engage in their community. Each grade level went on a different journey, including visiting a farm, a restaurant, a chocolate factory and Ithra. Each trip allowed students to participate and engage in their learning, picking strawberries, making chocolate and pizza and participating in an interactive read-aloud. The field trips were exciting opportunities for our students to engage and explore their community, foster their independence and help them think critically about the world around them.
WOW Week is an anticipated and exciting time at ISG Dammam and we look forward to all the opportunities that will be presented next year.
