Robotics Scrimmage at Dhahran Middle School

Elementary, middle and high school robotics students competed in a friendly robotics scrimmage on Saturday at the Dhahran campus.

The First Lego League (FLL) competition allowed the students to bring in their robots and explore the different missions available.  Students coded their robots to complete specific missions in the shortest time possible.  After working on their coding, the high school team received the best score on their day's last run.

In FLL, students learn the importance of being meticulous, working as a team, and staying calm when things aren’t going as planned.  Robotics clubs and classes are offered to our elementary, middle and high school students; the classes are some of the most popular on campus.  Students look forward to exploring the creative process of creating their robot and the detailed, precise code-making process.

We are grateful for opportunities to engage in friendly competition with other regional schools and look forward to continuing with more opportunities to compete.
