The International Programs School (IPS) recently hosted a Model United Nations conference for schools around the Eastern Province.
A team of 17 students from ISG Dammam competed in the conference over the weekend and engaged in a spirited debate on a wide range of subjects related to global affairs.
Students explored various topics, including health care in the developing world and how large economies can effect change in our global climate health.
Students had to follow specific procedures as they debated, and the students of ISG Dammam showed their expertise, winning several awards over the weekend.
Students from ISG Dammam walked away with three Honorable Mention awards, two Distinguished Delegate awards, and three Best Delegate awards.
It was a fantastic showing by the ISG Dammam High School MUN Club. Students are grateful for extracurricular activities that allow them to explore interests and connect their school subjects to real-world scenarios.
