BSD Student-Athletes Participate in ISG Athletics Jamboree

British School Dhahran student-athletes braved the cold weather to participate in the ISG Athletics Jamboree at the Aziziyah campus, joining 60 competitors from all ISG schools. The event featured a variety of track and field challenges, including sprints (100m, 200m, 400m), middle and long-distance races (800m, 1500m), and field events such as the javelin, shot put, discus, long jump, and high jump. Despite the chilly conditions, our athletes showed remarkable resilience, pushing through to give their best performances in every event.

The Jamboree provided a valuable opportunity for BSD students to strive for personal bests and hone their skills in preparation for the upcoming BSME and SAIKAC athletics competitions. From explosive sprints to precision in field events, each student embraced the challenge with determination and a positive spirit. The supportive atmosphere and camaraderie among competitors from all ISG schools created a sense of unity and encouragement that kept spirits high throughout the evening.

This friendly competition highlighted the perseverance and dedication of our student-athletes, who not only battled the elements but also demonstrated growth and grit in their performances. BSD is incredibly proud of the effort and progress shown, and we eagerly anticipate seeing their hard work pay off in future meets.
