BSD Senior Students Create a Thrilling Experience

Last week, senior students at British School Dhahran took on an ambitious project, creating an impressive haunted house in their Sixth Form area. Drawing inspiration from their recent theater trip to London, where they delved into the art of acting and costume design, the students transformed their ideas into a fully immersive experience for the school community.

They creatively designed every room, crafted eerie props and perfected their makeup and costumes, putting their newfound skills to the test in a fun yet challenging environment. The haunted house showcased not only their hard work but also their understanding of theatrical elements like staging, lighting, and sound to bring the experience to life.

This haunted house was a testament to the students’ passion and teamwork. They took on every role themselves—from set designers to the actors lurking in the shadows—carefully blending storytelling, atmosphere and suspense. Their impressive attention to detail left both peers and teachers amazed, capturing the eerie spirit of a haunted house while showcasing their creativity and all they’d learned.
