The ISG Dammam Elementary School recently held their PALs elections to allow students to vote on their Peer Assisted Learning (PALs) representatives for their class.
Grade 3-5 students in each classroom had the opportunity to prepare and share speeches about how they would be a good PAL to their fellow students. PAL student representatives are also in the middle school and high school at ISG Dammam and help new students transition to school, providing help in a wide variety of ways including friendship, help finding locations in the school and help with homework. Additionally, PALs work to create an inclusive, respectful and caring environment for all students, focusing on helping students inside and outside of the classroom.
The elementary school students were given the option to prepare speeches and present them to their peers. After the speeches, each class was able to vote for their PALs representative. The PALs team members from elementary through high school will later be inducted in a small pin ceremony in November.
