The Database/Web Developer is to be based on the Dammam Campus, will be responsible for providing administrative and support to the High School Assistant Principal and Technology Department.   

Job Duties

The successful candidate will be able to effectively:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)

  • We are looking of a person with IT background who will be in charge of teaching Graphic Design with Photoshop

  • Perform database administration, configuration, backup and performance tuning, but not limited to, ISG Databases

  • Participate in project that involves database design, installation, integration and optimization

  • Participate/perform duties as assigned by the IT Manager and/or the Director of Digital Learning

  • Responsible for developing and/or maintaining back­end systems

  • Participate in system design, analysis and development

  • Prepare test plan, test cases/scripts, test environments and perform testing

  • Analyze user requirements, provide solutions and provide system documentations as needed

Qualifications and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years of strong DBA experience is a must. DBA experience in Education environment is an advantage

  • Proficiency in Database design, including connectors like ODBC and ODBj

  • Strong working knowledge in Oracle, SQL is a must

  • Working knowledge in Access, MySQL is an advantage

  • Knowledge in Crystal Reporting or similar reporting software is a must

  • OCA/OCP Holder is a plus

  • Great sense of technology and understands the latest trends in technology

Experience and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience in working with Education System and Student Management System is a must

  • Experience in problem determination and solving


  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent command of English, both written and oral

  • Excellent Computer literacy

  • A team player that can work in minimal supervision

  • Willing to work outside normal working hours when required

  • Ability to work under pressure
