ISG Jubail seeks a dynamic Library Assistant with a passion for involving students in all areas of elementary Homeroom classes.  The ideal candidate will have experience inspiring students to become conscientious and compassionate thinkers and global citizens.  This person would demonstrate a commitment to a well-rounded and flexible Homeroom program that encompasses interdisciplinary connections and authentic/relevant learning experiences.  ISG Jubail has a strong sense of community. The successful candidate would be committed to contributing to the whole school community beyond the confines of the Homeroom program.  The ideal candidate would be eager to engage in collaboration around our mission:  We inspire innovation and compassionate action.

Qualifications and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
  • An advanced degree in a related field of study
  • Knowledge of Understanding by Design (UbD) principles and interdisciplinary planning
  • An understanding of conceptual based mathematics
Experience and Skills


  • Expertise in using Google Apps for Education 
  • Proficiency in the use of the app Seesaw
  • Experience in using the Lucy Calkins Readers and Writers workshop model
  • Confidence in working with technology effectively in the classroom
  • Previous work experience in an elementary classroom in an international context
  • Previous work experience in close partnership with teachers to establish an appropriate, child-centered learning environment
  • Previous work experience in the preparation, planning, and delivery of child-centered learning activities 
  • Previous work experience supporting individuals and groups of children
  • Previous work experience in ensuring that the classroom environment is well-managed, properly ordered, and effectively presented
