London Trip 2018

22 November 2018

Like our 5 previous visits to London, the 2018 London Theatre Arts trip was a huge success. This year we took the largest group of students ever to London - 22 - and everyone had a wonderful time, with many wishing the trip 'was longer' or saying they'd like to 'join next year's trip too!' Given that there were 5 students on this trip who had been, between them, 13 times on previous London Theatre trips, this is all perfectly possible...

During the 9 full-on days in London, students enjoyed attending 9 theatre performances covering a broad range of styles, from the immensely powerful play 'The Jungle' to the hilariously zany 'Bank Robbery' farce. They took part in 7 drama-based workshops, saw 2 classical concerts, enjoyed tours of galleries, musea and historic walks (in fact, we averaged 10 miles walking a day, which helped to burn off the excellent food we enjoyed), and took part in the RADA Shakespeare Awards. Above all, during this hugely rewarding experience, the students had fun and lots of it, making new friendships and reinforcing already established ones.
