Superintendent Student Advisory Meeting

Last week, Dr. Mack, ISG Superintendent, had the pleasure of hosting around 30 students from across the district for my second Superintendent's Student Advisory Committee meeting.

At their last meeting the students were asked to gather feedback from their fellow students on what they enjoy most about school, how they learn best and what improvements they feel could be made. Each student was asked to talk to their fellow students and send in their views.

In their meeting, they reviewed the feedback and worked through an analysis and solution-based exercise. The group also had a brief discussion on leadership skills development.

We truly appreciate the time and feedback from the group, who really are a credit to their schools - and the district as a whole. We look forward to continuing our good work into the future and including our student voices in the achievement of our strategic goals.
