NESAC U16 Tournament

On November 8-12, American School Dhahran’s U16 Boys Volleyball team participated in the NESAC U16 Volleyball tournament in the American School of Kuwait. 

Six teams participated: American School Dhahran, American School of Kuwait, American International School of Kuwait, American International School of AbuDhabi, Gems American Academy and Universal American School

The ASD boys placed 2nd in this tournament. Congratulations to our young athletes and their coaches Michael Sprague and Chona Panuela.  

Beyond the thrill of victory, the U16 volleyball team’s participation in such events cultivates important skills among students. The athletes develop mental resilience as they navigate the highs and lows of competition,  and also develop important communication skills and teamwork as players learn to coordinate strategies on the court. 

However, the benefits of competitive sports extend beyond the court as students develop character and life skills that will serve them for life.
