Middle School MathCounts Competition

Twelve mathletes from the middle school competed in the ISG District MathCounts competition on Saturday, March 9 held at ASD.

MathCounts is a nonprofit organization that provides content for extracurricular math activities for Grades 6-8. The students competed in individual competitions as well as team competitions. The events were timed to test their speed as well as proficiency.

Our middle school students were delighted to participate in an engaging competition that provided them the opportunity to showcase their math skills.  Applying math skills in a variety of methods and formats helps to solidify and cement learning in our students.
