Middle School students at ISG Dammam recently enjoyed a day of hands-on instruction in the areas of science and technology and culture at the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra).
Students participated in an exhibition called Sustainable Solutions, highlighting the concepts of sustainability and climate change through contemporary art, which is highly adaptable and responsive to change.
The exhibition highlighted the concepts of sustainability and climate change, showcasing artistic visions that encourage reflection and dialogue on the environmental challenges we face. The exhibition aims to promote awareness, reflection, dialogue and interaction with the global conversation surrounding environmental challenges.
Students also participated in the Re-Plastics Experience, an initiative developed by the Precious Plastics initiative, working to create a sustainable global recycling alternative system.
In the workshop, students were able to learn through hands-on participation about the processes and machines that take waste plastic and process it to create new products.
Field trips like this are a crucial part of the educational experience at ISG Dammam and reflect our continued commitment to innovation and compassionate action.
