This week, the Middle School Advisory at ISG Jubail held a special activity in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR), organized by the Middle School Student Council (StuCo). This event aimed to enhance the profile of the Graduate Profile attribute of Collaboration, a vital skill for students as they navigate their academic and social environments.
The activity revolved around a creative twist on the classic game of "Telephone." Traditionally, this game involves players whispering a message to one another in sequence, often resulting in humorous misunderstandings by the time the message reaches the last player. To kick off the assembly, members of the MS StuCo delivered a speech to practice their public speaking skills, sharing the significance of collaboration in both the game and everyday life. Following their speech, they provided clear instructions for the activity, ensuring everyone understood how to participate.
Students formed a line and began the game, each whispering a message to the next. The excitement built as the final player announced the message they received, highlighting the fun and unpredictability that comes with communication.
This engaging exercise not only promoted teamwork and collaboration among students but also fostered an atmosphere of support and camaraderie within the middle school community.
