Mangrove Visits for Year 1 and Year 2

Students from BSD recently embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Ras Tanura Eco Park, also known as the Mangrove Eco Park, located in Aramco. This immersive experience allowed students to explore the rich mangrove ecosystem, a vital habitat that plays a crucial role in preserving marine life and promoting biodiversity. The students were guided through the park's stunning natural surroundings, where they observed the intricate relationships between the mangroves, wildlife, and the environment.

Through hands-on activities, students engaged in meaningful learning experiences that helped them understand the significance of mangroves in protecting coastal areas from erosion, supporting diverse marine species, and contributing to carbon sequestration. The trip sparked a deep appreciation for nature, inspiring the students to think critically about environmental conservation. By actively participating in guided observations, they gained valuable insights into the delicate balance of ecosystems and the importance of preserving them for future generations.
