ISG Jubail's Home Language Program Empowers Students to Connect with Their Heritage

ISG Jubail, with the invaluable help of volunteer parents, teachers and librarians, recently launched an exciting and innovative Home Language Program. This new initiative was designed to support students in connecting with their cultural roots by providing a platform to speak their native languages at school.

The program involved splitting parents, students and teachers into classrooms based on their home languages, creating a rich and engaging environment for language learning and cultural exchange.The languages offered in the program include Urdu, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish, reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the ISG Jubail community. This unique opportunity allows students to practice and strengthen their language skills in a familiar setting, while also helping them maintain strong connections with their cultural heritage.

The Home Language Program benefits students by improving their language proficiency and encourages a deeper sense of pride and identity in their native languages. It also fosters an inclusive atmosphere within the school, where different cultures and languages are celebrated and respected.
