Numeracy Week at ISG Jubail was full of excitement, with each day bringing a new math-themed adventure for the students. It was packed with creative activities that made learning about math both fun and engaging.
The week kicked off with Geometry Day, where students explored shapes and angles through hands-on activities, discovering how math is everywhere around us. On Pattern Dress-Up Day, students dressed in their favorite patterns, from stripes to polka dots, making math look as colorful as it is.
A Problem in My Pocket Day had kids carrying around fun math problems to solve with friends throughout the day, turning problem-solving into a group effort. Hidden Number Day had everyone looking for numbers and symbols as students came dressed as math-related characters.
Double or Twin Day had students dressing as matching numbers or twin outfits with friends. It was a fun way to celebrate pairs and teamwork with creative, math-inspired looks!
The week ended with a memorable 100th Day of School Celebration, where the highlight was a surprise visit from Zero the Hero, who added a superhero twist to the festivities.
Numeracy Week was the perfect way to show how fun math can be, leaving students with big smiles and a deeper love for learning. A big thank you to Mrs. Kristen Bourn and all the elementary teachers for making this week so interactive and delightful!
