ISG Innovation Challenge Comes to an End

The ISG Innovation Challenge came to an end today with a showcase of remarkable projects and compelling presentations. ISG teachers and administrators were impressed with the caliber and talent of all our students.

I’m proud to announce our winners below.

In the Junior Division:

  • The Minions, ASD, Overall Winner award.
  • Sigma VR, ASD, Most Innovative award.
  • Re Soil It, ISG Dammam, Most Compassionate award.

In the Senior Division:

  • Neuro Blast, BSD, Overall Winner award.
  • Amplify, ASD, Most Innovative award.
  • A.P (Artificial Pancreas), ISG Dammam, Most Compassionate award.

Congratulations to all our students!

During Week Without Walls, ISG collaborated with 8BillionIdeas, a UK based business to run the ISG Innovation Challenge, a competition that ran across ASD, BSD, ISG Dammam and ISG Jubail to introduce our students to the world of entrepreneurship and starting a successful business.

Inspired by the ISG mission “We inspire innovation and compassionate action,” the facilitators from 8BillionIdeas guided our students through the ideation phase, the elevator pitch and presenting their business, developing entrepreneurship skills and characteristics and learning to collaborate with their peers to bring their ideas to life.

The best projects were chosen from each school and on the fourth day, students competed for the titles of best overall project, most innovative and most compassionate.

We are very proud of our students and the effort and creativity they presented this week.

Please watch a recap of the first three days of the challenge here. We will share a full recap of the ISG Innovation Challenge after spring break.
