ISG Dammam Celebrates Earth Day

ISG Dammam celebrated Earth Day 2025 with heart, hands and hope. More than just a recognition of our planet, this year’s celebration was a schoolwide commitment to sustainability, environmental action and education.

Throughout the week, students engaged in a range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of environmental responsibility. Under the leadership of our active Eco Club, students planted flowers and greenery around campus—bringing new life to shared spaces while learning about the importance of native plants, biodiversity and the role of green environments in our daily lives.

Our National Honor Society students also stepped up, helping organize events and activities that promote eco-friendly habits. From sharing tips on reducing waste, to leading recycling awareness campaigns, to guiding younger students through planting activities, their leadership helped make Earth Day an inclusive, hands-on learning experience.

In addition, students participated in a plant sale, offering a variety of potted plants to the school community. The initiative raised awareness about the importance of home gardening and encouraged families to bring a piece of nature into their own homes.

Recycling stations across campus were actively used, and students reflected in class on the importance of sustainability—not just on Earth Day, but every day. Through it all, the message was clear: small actions lead to big impact.

At ISG Dammam, Earth Day is more than an annual event—it’s part of our everyday values. Together, we’re growing a greener future.
