G1A Readers Theatre and Music Show

From May 13-15, our Grade 1 students took to the stage in the ES Music Room to present their highly anticipated Readers Theatre and Music Show. The event was a wonderful opportunity for our young performers to demonstrate their creativity, storytelling abilities and musical talents.

The show kicked off with our students reading beloved fairy tales, accompanied by their classmates' musical performances using a variety of instruments including base/alto xylophone, glockenspiel, chime, sand block, clave, ratchet, tubano drum, shakers, ocean drum, rain stick and keyboard. Each story came to life with the perfect blend of narration and musical accompaniment, captivating the audience from start to finish.

In the first part of the show, the audience was treated to classic tales such as "The Three Little Pigs" and "Three Billy Goats Gruff," expertly brought to life by our talented students. The seamless integration of storytelling and music added depth and richness to the familiar tales, making them even more engaging and entertaining.

The second part of the show showcased the students' vocal prowess as they sang three delightful spring tunes, complete with amazing solo performances. From upbeat rhymes to heartfelt melodies, each song was delivered with enthusiasm and confidence, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed.

As the show came to a close, our students expressed their gratitude to the audience for their support and participation. With heartwarming solo performances and catchy tunes, the final song, "Gratitude Attitude," served as a fitting conclusion to a truly memorable event.

We extend our sincere thanks to Ms. Saima Jamil  and Ms. Melek Demir and to all the students, teachers and staff involved in making the G1 Readers Theatre and Music Show a resounding success. Your hard work, dedication and talent were truly appreciated, and we look forward to many more inspiring performances in the future.
