Celebrating Creativity in the Middle School Design Show

On May 12, ISG Jubail was delighted to spotlight the outstanding achievements of our middle school visual arts students at the recent Design Show. Led by Ms. Maria Khan, these budding artists have poured their hearts and minds into three remarkable art projects, showcasing their creativity and understanding of design principles.

The Design Show provided a platform for our students to exhibit their diverse range of artwork and designs, captivating visitors with their innovative creations. 

Tie & Dye Shirts

Middle school students crafted an  explosion of colors and patterns in their vibrant tie & dye shirts. Each shirt was a unique masterpiece, reflecting the individuality and creativity of its maker. From bold patterns to intricate designs, the shirts were true statements of style and self-expression.

Hand-Woven Sports Bands

Combining functionality with fashion, our students designed hand-woven sports bands ideal for active individuals. Using a variety of materials, they explored the art of weaving to create durable and stylish accessories. The choice of materials added texture and strength to the bands, making them both practical and visually appealing.

Personality Plaster Gauze Masks

Venturing into the realm of sculpture, our students crafted personal plaster gauze masks that reflect facets of their personalities or admired characters. This project encouraged introspection and self-expression, resulting in masks that are both profound and imaginative. Each mask tells a unique story, showcasing the diverse personalities within our class.

During the event, visitors had the opportunity to engage with our young artists, gaining insights into their creative processes and the inspiration behind their work. It was a truly enriching experience for all involved, highlighting the immense talent and dedication of our middle school visual arts students.
