During fall break, a group of British School Dhahran students went on the annual BSD London Theatre trip which was a great success, bringing joy to students and staff alike. Students quickly made new friendships during the journey. The trip had a significant impact, as they returned with wonderful experiences, fun stories and a growing love for the performing arts.
Students were fortunate enough to participate in workshops with talented professionals, touring famous theaters and visited well-known museums and historic sites in London, deepening their appreciation for the city’s culture and the role arts plays in our day-to-day world. Students also enjoyed a variety of shows, from a funny slapstick comedy to exciting musicals, serious dramas and a dark, thought-provoking tragedy.
This was our twelfth annual theatre trip, and many students are already looking forward to next year’s adventure. The excitement shows how much this trip means to our school community, encouraging expanded learning as artists, artistic exploration and the creation of lasting friendships among students.
