BSD Students Enjoy WOW Week Trip to Al-Ahsa

BSD students had an exciting trip to Al-Ahsa during Week without Walls (WOW), where they explored farms, Al-Qarah Mountain, Asfar Lake, sand dunes, the old market and visited Al Anjal Private Schools for a cultural and knowledge exchange.

At the farms, they saw how dates are grown and tasted fresh local fruits. They learned about the importance of farming in the region and enjoyed the peaceful green surroundings.

Next, they visited Al-Qarah Mountain, where they explored wonderous caves and unique rock formations. The students also had an adventurous time driving through the sand dunes, experiencing the thrill of the desert landscape. They then enjoyed the serene beauty of Asfar Lake, a stunning natural spot surrounded by calm waters and lush greenery.

The students also had the opportunity to visit Al Anjal Private Schools, where they engaged in a cultural and knowledge exchange with their peers. This visit allowed them to introduce their school environment and educational opportunities while learning more about the educational system in Al-Ahsa.

The trip ended at the old market, where students tried traditional foods, met local vendors and experienced the lively atmosphere. This trip helped them learn more about Al-Ahsa’s culture, history and local way of life.
