In the Best Buddies club, BSD students have the opportunity to bond with peers from ACCEL Ajyal Center through simple, enjoyable activities like games, art projects and team challenges.
Last week, the focus was on creating an inclusive environment where everyone felt supported and valued. These shared moments allowed students to build friendships and better understand the daily experiences of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The event helped students practice important life skills, such as empathy, teamwork and kindness. By working together and supporting each other, BSD students learned how small actions—like being kind or listening—can have a big impact. The experience was both fun and meaningful, leaving everyone with a stronger sense of community and connection.
