Who We Admit
International Schools Group (ISG) is an independent, nonprofit organization which operates coeducational day schools in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With six schools located in the Eastern Province and one school on the country’s western coast, ISG offers a choice of an American, British or international curriculum for students in preschool through high school. Dhahran High School also offers an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program. American schools in the ISG system are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the Council of International Schools, and the British schools are accredited by British Schools Overseas and British Schools in the Middle East. The organization’s first school was established in 1962 for children of American Consulate staff; today ISG serves 4,600 students from over 40 countries.
Led by highly qualified educators, ISG inspires students to reach their fullest potential, and aim for high achievement, driven by integrity, acceptance of others and personal ambition.
We welcome applications from students of all nationalities who are able to meet the demands of an academically challenging American, English or international curricula. Students are selected to enter a prospective school based upon past school records, teacher recommendations, standardized test scores and an applicant questionnaire. In making admissions decisions, we offer places to those students whose experiences and records indicate that they will succeed in the school’s academic programs. The school seeks to ensure an appropriate match between a prospective student and family and the mission and philosophy of the school. We give priority to applicants who have siblings already enrolled in a school, while also considering each school’s gender mix, which helps achieve a diverse student body. Admission of students with learning difficulties is limited by the availability of services that will meet their educational needs. Your child may be invited to the school or the ISG District Office for further assessment.
