ISG Jubail School, formerly Jubail Academy and Jubail American School, was established in 1978 under contract with the Royal commission to serve expatriates in the Jubail Industrial City. Jubail British School was established in 1983. In 2005, Jubail American School and Jubail British School combined and are now known as ISG Jubail.

ISG Jubail’s mission is to provide a dynamic educational experience which celebrates our multicultural community of diverse learners. The ISG Jubail student is inspired to strive for academic excellence, a balanced life and service to others. Accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, ISG Jubail follows an American curriculum that includes English/language arts, science, mathematics, social studies, and physical education.

Elementary students also participate in music, Arab culture and conversation, art, physical education, library and technology instruction. In Middle School, grades 6 through 8, students begin global language study in Arabic, French or Spanish and have a wide variety of electives to choose from, including media, band,  technology, art, drama, problem solving, Arabic culture and conversation (continued from elementary school), and contemporary issues.

Students in grades 9 through 11 follow a rigorous four-year college preparatory academic plan, leading to the American high school diploma. In addition to the core curriculum, students may select Concert Band, Computer Assisted Design, Psychology, Sociology, and Physiology, and continue their study of French, Arabic or Spanish. In addition, Jubail High School currently offers four Advanced Placement courses: AP Biology, AP World History, AP Language and Composition, and AP Physics 1.The PSAT is administered to all 10th and 11th graders as part of their college planning process, and the College Board SAT is offered three times each year. Demonstrated service is part of the graduation requirement. Membership in the prestigious National Honor Society is earned by selected students in grades ten and eleven.

For students who are not proficient in the English language, English as a Second Language support is offered. In accordance with Board of Trustees policy, ISG Jubail does not admit students with special needs. 

ISG Jubail offers students after-school activities in the areas of sports, music, art, and clubs. Depending on the grade level, students may participate in volleyball, basketball, chess, cricket, football, netball, Student Council, arts and crafts, guitar, piano, rock climbing, Gulf explorations, after-school musicals and other activities offered throughout the school year. The school's comprehensive Enrichment Programs offer something for every student.

ISG Jubail Middle/High School is an active member of the SAIKAC (Saudi Arabia Inter Kingdom Activities Conference) and students compete regionally in several sports throughout the year.
