Nick joined Dhahran British Grammar School in 2000, having previously taught in the UK and Japan. He has a master's degree in South East Asian Languages and Literature. Before moving into teaching, Nick worked in export management and sales. He began his teaching career with the British Institute of Export and later taught in Usuki Shi in Japan. He holds degrees from the University of Hull and SOAS, University of London. He completed his teacher training at Leeds University.
Nick is a strong advocate of experiential education and has led over twenty eight international student expeditions, including three to Everest Base Camp. He has explored Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Omsn extensively, and through the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Programme encourages students to learn more about the Middle East and the Himalayas.
